The Fundamental teachings of Christ Church are reflected in the following abbreviated doctrinal statements.

We Believe. . .

All scripture is given by the inspiration of God and that holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the Holy Bible. (II Timothy 3:16)

In the Eternal Godhead, who has revealed Himself as ONE God in THREE persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

In the creation, test, and fall of man, as is recorded in the book of Genesis. (Romans 5:12, 18)

The Lord Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born to the Virgin Mary, died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and personally appeared to his disciples. (Luke 1:26-35)

In the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven and His bodily return the second time for the church. (John 14:2-3)

In the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith, and that there is eternal life for believers. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

The necessity of water baptism by immersion, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation. (Matthew 28:19)

In the operation of the gifts of the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12-14)

In the table of the Lord, commonly called communion or the Lord's Supper. (1 Corinthians 11:28-32)
