The Youth and Children Department is an extremely important part of Christ Church. We strive to provide support for parents and to create an environment for training and educating of the next generation. In Proverbs 22:6, God instructs us to “train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Men, women, and teens are welcomed to help support any one of these ministries.

Children’s Church

Your child is special to us and we count it a privilege to have the opportunity to teach them the Word of God. We have special classes just for their age group so that your child receives instruction on a level they can understand. Class sessions incorporate biblical study, games, and arts and crafts.

Genysis
This ministry meets on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. It was created to facilitate the spiritual needs of preteens. They are involved in various projects throughout the year.

Our nursery is staffed by loving, compassionate workers that desire to provide the most caring and secure environment possible for your child. Our nursery ministry has a curriculum which includes praise and worship, story time, snack time, games and videos.

This ministry exists for youth ages 13-17 years of age to assist them in developing and maintaining a healthy balanced life. Special meeting times are scheduled throughout the year, both inside and outside of the church, which minister to the whole person; mind, body, and spirit.
